Linda L. Lively, MHA, CCS-P, RCC, ROCC®, CHBME

Linda Lively is the founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of American Medical Accounting & Consulting (AMAC®), incorporated in 1983.  AMAC provides billing and consulting services for many hospitals, radiation oncologists, hospital-based physicians and freestanding centers nationwide.

Linda's background encompasses over thirty years of comprehensive accounts receivable management including the direction of accounts receivable processes, account negotiations, managed care negotiations, revenue analysis, CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding, physician/patient liaison, and physician/third party reimbursement agency liaison.

Linda is considered one of the foremost authorities on reimbursement issues in America. In March of 1995, she traveled to Russia to work with the Petrov Oncology Institute in St. Petersburg.  Linda’s national reputation has facilitated the development of negotiation strategies with third-party payers across the country.  As a resource for a variety of medical groups, vendors, facilities, universities, clinics, hospitals and third-party payers, Linda and AMAC now represent a client base of more than 800 health care organizations nationwide.   Linda has cultivated relationships with Medicare carrier medical directors, CMS (previously HCFA) executives, as well as medical directors and administrators for a variety of local and national managed care organizations.
